BBQ Shrimp with Crab Meat Stuffing Recipe

It’s a Seafood Barbecue feast at the Pit with this Crab Meat Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp recipe. One of the BBQ Pit Boys shows you how quick and easy it is to make this Barbecue fish and seafood favorite, Crab Stuffed Baked Shrimp!

Ingredients:
-2lbs. Jumbo Shrimp -12-16′s or big enough for stuffing
-1lb. can lump Crab Meat
-1 cup Bread Crumbs
-1/4 cup mayonnaise
-Unsalted Butter
-Onion
-Celery
-Garlic
-Lemon
-Parsley

Mix ingredients as shown and then stuff into split shrimp. BBQ on indirect heat at 350f for about 15 minutes or just until shrimp loose their opaque color. Add lemon slices and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

NAPOLI – La procura di Napoli ha chiesto il rinvio a giudizio per Silvio Berlusconi nell’ambito dell’inchiesta sulle segnalazioni a favore di cinque attrici fatte dal leader di Forza Italia al presidente di Rai Fiction Agostino Saccà. A Berlusconi è contestato il reato di corruzione.

Una costola della stessa inchiesta è stata trasferita a Roma per competenza. E’ la parte più “politica” che riguarda i presunti tentativi del Cavaliere di conquistare nuovi senatori per la sua maggioranza nelle settimane precedenti il voto sulla Finanziaria. L’ipotetica campagna acquisti, fallita, aveva riguardato qualche senatore indeciso sul fatto di continuare a dare appoggio al governo Prodi.

Berlusconi è indagato di corruzione in concorso con Saccà per cui è già stato chiesto il giudizio. Il pm Vincenzo Piscitelli contesta il reato di corruzione in quanto Saccà avrebbe favorito le attrici “raccomandate” per la loro partecipazione a fiction televisive in cambio della promessa di un sostegno, da parte dell’ex premier, alle sue future attività private. L’indagine si basa su intercettazioni telefoniche sulle utenze di Saccà.

Il commento del Cavaliere è stato “indiretto”: “Spero che si vada presto al voto e gli italiani ci diano una maggioranza sufficiente a poter fare una riforma in profondità della giustizia e della magistratura” ha detto, arrivando a Milano, ai giornalisti che gli chiedevano una dichiarazione sulla notizia arrivata da Napoli.

Dure le reazioni dello stato maggiore di Forza Italia. Paolo Bonaiuti, portavoce e deputato, parla della “del solito attacco del solito settore della solita magistratura politicizzata” e fa del sarcasmo sul fatto che “sarebbe ingenuo pensare che a Napoli ci si occupi di rifiuti”. Sandro Bondi, numero due del partito, denuncia “il clima di barbarie e inciviltà” per difendersi dal quale non resta che “ricorrere alla disobbedienza civile”. Roberto Schifani ritiene “non più rinviabile interrogarsi sulla politica italiana”. Iole Santelli, ex sottosegretario alla Giustizia, ironizza: “la vera fiction è la richiesta di rinvio a giudizio”. Ghedini chiede che sia investito il Csm “per verificare cosa accade a Napoli”. Si schiera anche An con l’onorevole Maurizio Gasparri che dice: “Perchè l’aggiunto di Napoli Mancuso non si occupa di Napoli sommersa dai rifiuti invece che delle attrici forse raccomandate da Berlusconi?”.

Fresh Basil Pesto

Pick fresh basil to make basil pesto, a great sauce for pasta or chicken. It’s easy to grow basil in your garden and harvest it for using fresh in the kitchen.

Ingredients:
4 cups lightly packed fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup pine nuts, toasted*
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
3/4 cup (3 oz.) freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
In food processor, combine basil, pine nuts, garlic, salt and pepper; process until pine nuts are ground. With motor running, gradually add oil through feed tube, processing until mixture forms a paste. Add Parmesan cheese; pulse until blended.

Pesto can be made ahead. Place sheet of plastic wrap directly on surface to prevent discoloration; refrigerate up to 2 days or freeze up to 6 months.

Makes 1 1/3 cups.

TIP *To toast pine nuts, heat small heavy skillet over medium-low heat. Add pine nuts and stir constantly 2 to 3 minutes or until light golden and fragrant. Transfer to a small bowl and let cool.
